How GSeat Cushion Works
At Gelco Products, we set out to reimagine what a seat cushion could be. When we launched the GSeat in 1999, the market offered few truly ergonomic options for people dealing with back pain. So, we partnered with BMW Group Designworks USA and a respected U.S. bicycle seat manufacturer to create something radically better.
The result? A cushion designed not just for comfort, but for health.
The GSeat’s signature feature is its center relief groove—directly inspired by high-performance “split rail” bike seat designs. This groove eliminates pressure on the tailbone and sensitive soft tissues, making sitting more comfortable for longer periods of time.
To promote better posture, the GSeat is also designed with a gentle forward slope. This encourages a natural pelvic tilt and healthy spinal alignment, helping you avoid lower back pain and fatigue.
